Real Weddings with Whimsical DIY Touches

It's about time I showed off some "real" wedding style. So, this week I found three beautiful brides and 3 Real Weddings in wedding blog land to share with you.

Many of them feature pretty DIY wedding touches and are jammed full of whimsical style to inspire even the most reluctant wedding planner!

1. Rustic New Hampshire Wedding

Sarah and her sisters made the paper hearts, table numbers, and honey jars.   In addition to that beautiful ceremony bench, Sarah’s father also cut all of the logs for the centerpieces and dessert stands, and created the candelabra that hung from the ceremony tent!

2. Backyard Homemade Wedding

Ribbon-Tied-Swing

from the fabulous duo of Whitney and Jesse of Our Labor of Love, is that ofMax and Margaux.  All you really need to hear to know that their two day backyard celebration is knock-your-socks-off amazing is that the awesome crew of The Flashdance came together to produce it!

3.Dreamy Atlanta Wedding

We almost don’t know where to start with Laura & Mark’s dreamy Atlanta wedding! I suppose we could begin by pointing out that Laura planned and designed nearly everything herself – illustrating seating charts, collecting vintage items, and designing all the paper goods herself. And everything turned out soo fantastic, Laura even decided to open up her own Etsy design shop!

Aren't they enchanting!
